Cross-Functional Creative Leadership

I lead creative teams through clarity, care, and momentum. I bring together artists, strategists, producers, and technologists—aligning across disciplines to turn bold ideas into beautifully executed work. I manage timelines, budgets, team dynamics, and stakeholder relationships to ensure creative vision is matched by operational excellence.

Summary

Future Camp is a three-day immersive experience designed to activate high school students as change makers in their communities. I led the creation and scaling of the program from concept to multi-city implementation—blending systems thinking, community-based research, rapid prototyping, and scalable product design to deliver a transformational program with consistent emotional and educational impact.

My Role:

Director of Product (Design)

Designing a Scalable Youth Transformation Experience Rooted in Systems Thinking

Project Overview

    • Used a systems thinking framework to design interventions that created durable transformation across identity, agency, and community.

    • Identified “magic moments” using rapid prototyping inspired by Tom Chi’s methodology, testing emotional high points with users before locking experience flow.

    • Defined a coherent emotional arc for participants—from curiosity to clarity to empowered action—that shaped every aspect of the experience.

    • Conducted 17 interviews with students, shadowed 4 top-performing Dream Directors, and reviewed years of internal IP to identify what made the original program impactful.

    • Complemented internal research with external analysis of rites of passage, peak performance frameworks, and self-actualization models.

    • Synthesized findings into three core insights: transformation is communal, challenge must be just beyond reach, and Gen Z is motivated by impact + self-knowledge.

    • Designed and tested 15+ digital and physical assets, including interactive card games, values discovery activities, and project launch kits.

    • Consolidated all tools into a single, streamlined asset: The Werqbook, improving usability, cost, and effectiveness across all pilot sites.

    • Ran 8 cycles of iteration across 8 cities, refining everything from content order to design layout based on student data and facilitator feedback.

    • Managed a national rollout of Future Camp across 8 cities, serving over 600 students.

    • Built cross-functional teams of facilitators, ops leads, researchers, and junior designers to support each event.

    • Implemented a continuous improvement system including post-event surveys, in-room observation, and asset usage data to support real-time iteration.
