Go-To-Market & Growth Planning

I connect ideas to audiences with intention and precision. From brand positioning to campaign rollouts, I shape how creative work meets the world—and how it sustains itself. I build systems for launch, growth, and revenue through a blend of storytelling, paid media, ticketing, internal operations and external partnerships. My work ensures the energy we build doesn't just peak—it lasts.

Summary

Black Ass Comedy is a touring comedy series and cultural production platform that elevates emerging Black comedians and builds community around laughter, identity, and joy. I have overseen its growth from a single event to a multi-city touring brand with a robust performer network, strategic partnerships, digital infrastructure, and new creative extensions.

My Role:

Executive Producer

Expanding a Cultural Platform Through Touring, Partnerships, and Creative Business Strategy

Project Overview

    • Led the development and execution of two completed and three upcoming five-city tours, each generating ~$10K in ticket sales.

    • Built a repeatable operations model for live touring events, including venue negotiation, talent coordination, documentation, and local promotion.

    • Scaled the brand’s live event model to ensure profitability, artist compensation, and audience retention.

    • Built a six-city network of 40+ comedians, all paid for their performances — a rarity at this career stage.

    • Launched a six-month comedy residency in Washington, DC, supporting consistent stage time and brand-building for performers.

    • Oversaw the creative development of a digital short-form series to further expand audience reach and storytelling formats.

    • Secured partnerships with NYU Tisch and the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development to connect with emerging creatives and provide paid experiential roles.

    • Created and executed a funding and grants strategy, resulting in one competition win and finalist status in three more totaling $20,000+ in potential funds.

    • Positioned Black Ass Comedy as both an economic opportunity platform and a creative pipeline.

    • Lead all brand and campaign strategy, including city-specific rollouts, national campaigns, and tour branding.

    • Personally developed and managed the brand’s digital infrastructure, including Squarespace, Eventbrite, email newsletters, and audience databases.

    • Integrated digital tools with campaign strategy to automate promotion, ticketing, and audience engagement.

    • Created internal systems for marketing asset management, press outreach, and performance analysis.
